The awards program was officially launched at a media event in Port Moresby and will culminate in the Awards Gala Dinner on 17 October 2026 at the Hilton Port Moresby, the event's Venue Sponsor.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Simon Barstow, General Manager of DuluxGroup PNG, reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting the architectural profession and fostering innovation within Papua New Guinea's built environment. Mr. Barstow was joined at the launch by Mr. Jordan Tegabwasa, President of the Papua New Guinea Institute of Architects, along with representatives from Hilton Port Moresby.
